Sicko SK-043 Wind Proof Multi-Purpose Single Flame Torch
1. Instructions Read the instructions before using. Keep this manual for future reference. Do not use the micro torch when it is leaking. If the micro torch is leaking Take it to a well-ventilated area without an ignition source.
Filling or refilling the gas cylinder must be done in a well-ventilated place far away from any possible sources of ignition, open flames, pilot lights, electrical cookware and away from other persons. Be sure to observe the safety instructions and warning notices on the refill cylinder.
2. Ignitions and Extinguishing First, slide down the CR Lock to release the Trigger. Press the Trigger to ignite the turbo torch. After ignition, sliding the Continuous Switch to the right will keep a continuous flame. Sliding the Continuous Switch to the left will turn off the micro torch.
3. Flame Adjustment Flame size may be adjusted with the Gas Adjustment Lever observing the "+" and "" signs on the body. Switch the air Adjustment Lever to change the flame setting.
4. Refilling Gas Refilling by using an inadequate method may lead to a serious accident. Make sure the fire is fully extinguished. Refill the micro torch in a well-ventilated area away from any source of ignition and away form other persons. Do not smoke while replacing or refilling the micro torch. Refill the triple refined butane gas only. Place the micro torch in an upside down position. Insert nozzle of the butane canister into the torch-refilling valve. Press down on the canister until the gas starts to overflow.
5. Warnings/Safety Hints KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. Do not point the flame directly at any person. Use butane lighter fuel only. Contains flammable gas under pressure. Never expose to heat above 50 degrees C or to prolonged sunlight. Ignite the micro torch away from one's face and clothing. Be sure the flame is out after use. Do not use a micro torch that shows any damage.
Do not put an ignited micro torch down.
Do not modify the micro torch. It can be dangerous to modify the construction or change the parts of the device. Check the micro torch and see if there is any loose part or damage before use. Be careful!
Do not heat the gas containers or the refillable gas tank or burn them.
Do not use the micro torch in a confined space. Work in a clean place, far from combustible materials or slippery surfaces. Wear eye-protection equipment.
Do not breathe the welding soldering fumes. Allow the micro torch to cool down before storing. Store the micro torch in an upright position. Use only specified spare parts. Never try to repair a damaged micro torch.
Do not throw the micro torch or the gas container into a fire. Always wear protective gloves and use proper tools to handle hot work. Always have a fire extinguisher and a bucket of water near the micro torch and work area.
Do not use unapproved fuels. Treat the micro torch as your fine tool. Do not drop or abuse it. Do not torch the exhaust part with metal or any hard object.
Do not store the micro torch over 40 degrees C (104 degrees F) (e.g. in a car in hot weather). After using the micro torch, the safety lock should be engaged. Be careful when using the micro torch in bright light because the flame is not very visible.
